Investigation on Fluid-Induced Vibration and Blade Crack Early Classification for Centrifugal Compressor
The fluid-induced vibration has great effect on centrifugal compressor normal working condition. It could lead to blade crack and even failure for centrifugal compressor. How to effectively monitor blade crack and avoid blade failure for centrifugal compressor become more and more important with modern machine development. Different monitored methods for blade vibration are investigated in detail, such as pressure pulsation, blade tip timing, and strain signal. For improving design and avoiding blade breakdown, blade failure mechanism of centrifugal compressor are investigated, such as acoustic resonance, unsteady flow, rotor-stator interference. In the end, different methods for blade crack weak information determination are investigated to avoid blade failure.
Hongkun Li received doctor degree in Mechanical Electronics Engineering from Dalian University of Technology, Dalian, China, in 2003. From 2003-2005, he was research fellow in Universities of Glasgow and Strathclyde, UK. After that, he joins Dalian University of Technology as a teacher. He becomes a professor in Dalian University of Technology since 2014. His current research interests include incipient feature extraction, condition monitoring and fault diagnosis, reliability analysis, vibration control.
