Cooperation / Projects

Each year, the LVA is involved in a large number of European, French or contract projects in fields as varied as transport, shipbuilding, aeronautics, health, imaging, nuclear and electromechanics.

COOPERATION

Team

The Laboratory consists of teachers-researchers and administrative and technical staff.

The laboratory welcomes post-doctoral students, doctoral students from MEGA (School of Mechanics, Energy, Civil Engineering, Acoustics), Masters 2 students and students from the Mechanical Engineering and Design Department of INSA Lyon who are working on their final projects.

Laboratory

The Laboratoire Vibrations Acoustique (LVA) is affiliated to the mechanical engineering Department (GM) from the National Institute of Applied Science (INSA) and member of the Centre Lyonnais of Acoustics (CeLyA). Recognized laboratory of excellence in 2011 by the "Investments for the Future" program and accounting for more than sixty researchers specialized in almost all areas of sound (audible and ultrasonic), makes Celya the largest research centre in France specialized in acoustic engineering and its applications.
